Coats for a Cause
It’s that time of year when FEMALE. Community loves to give back.
We know Christmas can be challenging for women in shelters, far from loved ones.
Through our Coats for a Cause campaign, we aim to remind them that they’re part of a community that cares.
From November 18th - December 18th, we're collecting coats to be gifted to women’s shelters across Malta, delivered just in time for Christmas.
Over the last three years, we’ve collected 473 coats that have brought warmth and gratitude.
Your ongoing support makes this possible, and we’re so thankful for it!
Let’s spread warmth and love this season and help us collect 100 coats.

368 Gifts of Warmth: Our 2025 Wrap-Up
We’ve officially closed this year’s coat campaign, and our hearts are full. In just four weeks, this community gathered 368 warm coats and jackets for women in shelters across Malta, just in time to go under the tree for Christmas.
To those who donated: you didn't just give a coat; you sent a message of solidarity and care to women who need it most this season.

Wow, wow, wow! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to EVERYONE who took the time to donate such wonderful, warm coats and jackets to help keep women in need cozy this year.
In just four weeks, we have collected an incredible 324 warm coats, thanks to the unwavering support of our growing community of compassionate individuals—like you! This time of year can be especially challenging for women in shelters, far from their loved ones or just simply alone, but your generosity has spread warmth and love, touching hearts in several shelters and foundations that welcomed the coats as gifts from our community this Christmas.

THANK YOU to EVERYONE that had donated and supported the FEM. community Coats For A Cause Campaign to help raise warm coats for women in need in shelters across Malta.
We raised 59 coats that were truly appreciated at this time of year at the following shelters:
These were delivered over the past few days with the help of my amazing hubby Tezz, so they were on time to go under the tree for Christmas.

COATS FOR A CAUSE 2022
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAD SUPPORTED THE COATS FOR A CAUSE CAMPAIGN THAT WAS HELD FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS AT SUNDAYS FEM BOUTIQUE MARKETS.
We raised €70 in funds from selling the donated jackets that has been donated to the Women for Women Foundation Malta. There were 14 coats left to donate to women in need.
We have donated all the coats to Fondazzjoni Sebħ Women's shelter, just in time for the coats to go under the tree for Christmas presents on the 25th December.
COATS FOR A CAUSE 2021
THANK YOU to EVERYONE that had supported the Coats For A Cause Campaign that was held for the past 5 weeks at Sundays FEM Boutique Markets.
We raised €185 in funds from selling the donated jackets that has been donated to the Women for Women Foundation Malta. There were 76 coats left to donate to women in need.
We have donated the majority of coats to the following Women's shelters in Malta - Fondazzjoni Dari Hena & Agenzija Appogg just in time for the coats to go under the tree for Christmas presents
on the 25th.The remaining coats were donated to the YMCA & Fondazzjoni Sebħ in January 2022.
